EDITORIAL MISSION | Our objective is to create an immersive reading experience where design, typography and prose work together to honour the visceral biomechanical horror of the genre’s roots.
Issue 01 is the beginning of a long term project to support those trying to work their way out of difficult and unforeseen circumstances.
The first beneficiary of this support is myself. Your support will enable me to save for a home and once I have the safety of a locked door and a permanent address, obtaining work will become a real prospect.
Upon reaching this stage, I will invite others in need to a helping hand to contribute to the magazine and receive a fair share of the profits.
This premium publication is designed to connect contributors directly with their supporters. Each issue will present the aims of its contributors and share their presence on social media.
I hope Park Bench Magazine finds a place within our readers’ lifestyle. Feel free to reach out anytime.

To ensure Park Bench Magazine drives continuous growth across our entire brand, all issues will feature dedicated marketing spreads for our core platforms and revenue streams.
By allocating full pages to the AlienPurgatory site, the website creation services, the AP Progress Blog, the Patreon and our overarching social media network, we are actively funnelling our readership directly into our digital ecosystem.
This strategy transforms the physical magazine into a powerful marketing tool which builds community engagement and drives traffic to our primary revenue streams.
We return to these worlds because we are not finished with them. When we started this project the goal was simple; We wanted to see what would happen if we treated fan fiction with the respect usually reserved for bestsellers.
The three serialised stories in this collection are not just tributes, but expansions and divergences.
Leading Issue 01, Alien: Salvage is set in the year 3105 and explores a very different aspect of the Alien Franchise.
The Shape of the Heir is a story I have long been wanting to write. The wish of the fans of the Halloween Franchise, following the end Of Halloween 4, very much aligns with my own. So for those who wanted a continuation of Jamie’s arc, this is for you.
Terminator: Mimicry continues the story of Dani Ramos from Terminator: Dark Fate, a very misunderstood movie in the franchise. I hope I am able to gain your time to give this one a chance, hopefully you’ll be very surprised for the direction I am taking this story in.
To the Patreon members thank you. Your financial support and your messages of encouragement are the engine behind this machine. You made this possible.
