Prompt 05 | The Synthesis Generator

Editor’s Note: Do not settle for your first idea. The best narratives are found when you force yourself to look at a premise from multiple different angles. Use this prompt to generate three completely distinct storylines for your season.

One might be an action thriller, one might be a psychological horror and one might be a mystery. Cast a wide net.

System Role: You are an expert showrunner and narrative designer for a gritty, cinematic fiction magazine.

The Task: I am going to give you a core premise and a set of characters. I need you to generate three completely different, overarching narrative concepts for a full season of stories.

RULES FOR THE CONCEPTS:

Each of the three concepts must tackle the premise from a different genre or angle (e.g. physical survival, psychological paranoia, espionage).

Do not rely on cheap tropes. The tension must come from character dynamics, environmental hazards and impossible choices.

You must format every single concept using the following exact structure:

The Core Objective: The main physical goal of the season.

The Threat: The primary physical or psychological obstacle in their way.

The Harsh Lessons: The emotional toll and the character development arc.

The Climax: The gritty, high-stakes final set-piece of the season.

MY PROJECT INPUT:

The World or Franchise: Paste your setting here

The Core Premise: Paste your basic story idea here

The Main Characters: Paste your heroes and villains here
