EDITORIAL MISSION | Our objective is to create an immersive reading experience where design, typography and prose work together to honour the visceral biomechanical horror of the genre’s roots.
Issue 02 is the second instalment of a long term project to support those trying to work their way out of difficult and unforeseen circumstances.
The first beneficiary of this support is myself. Your support will enable me to save for a home and once I have the safety of a locked door and a permanent address, obtaining work will become a real prospect.
Upon reaching this stage, I will invite others in need to a helping hand to contribute to the magazine and receive a fair share of the profits.
This premium publication is designed to connect contributors directly with their supporters. Each issue will present the aims of its contributors and share their presence on social media.
I hope Park Bench Magazine finds a place within our readers’ lifestyle. Feel free to reach out anytime.

To ensure Park Bench Magazine drives continuous growth across our entire brand, all issues will feature dedicated marketing spreads for our core platforms and revenue streams.
By allocating full pages to the AlienPurgatory site, the website creation services, the AP Progress Blog, the Patreon and our overarching social media network, we are actively funnelling our readership directly into our digital ecosystem.
This strategy transforms the physical magazine into a powerful marketing tool which builds community engagement and drives traffic to our primary revenue streams.
Thank you for returning for Issue #02 of this new venture in fan fiction.
Did you think these three stories were headed where you thought? The second instalments are only pages away.
Terminator: Mimicry leads this issue. I’m assuming the direction of this story came unexpected but welcomed? I’d love to discuss your theories of where this is heading and your opinion of the new ‘parent.’ I have five seasons planned out, so we have a lot to talk about. Please feel free to reach out anytime and let’s talk about the new TX ~ @JamesSpindler >>
Hopefully The Shape of the Heir has you hooked. This story doesn’t let up, Jamie Lloyd is not the girl you knew anymore. The Shape is loose and on the road and you’re about to experience what it is truly capable of. Want to chat Halloween, I’m all ears ~ @JamesSpindler >>
As for Harper, I hope you don’t think her next salvage mission will be as ‘easy’ as the first from Issue #01. Alien: Salvage is very loyal to the franchise in one very specific aspect; you’ll be thanking the lord above you’re not trailing behind her. Others will not be so lucky.
I’m always up for deep discussions of where you think the Alien Franchise is heading. You thinking / hoping for Andy vs. David too? ~ @JamesSpindler >>
To my new Patreon members who have joined this past month, thank you so much for your support.
